CARGO TERMINAL

MARVAL offers the following services:

• Container stuffing/unstuffing.
• Reefer and dry container pre-stacking.
• Full container reception, storage and dispatch (dry/reefer).
• Indirect withdrawal of import containers.
• Inland transport of containers and general cargo.
• Value added services to cargoes.

EXPORT

Container stuffing service, consisting of:

• Reception and storage of cargo in warehouse.
• Empty container pick up from shipping companies depots for consolidation.
• Container consolidation, according to the shipper’s instructions.
• Coordination with SAG, SERNAPESCA, IFOP, Customs Agencies and/or other private or public entities for the consolidation and dispatch of containers.
• Full container delivery to port according to stacking.

IMPORT

Container unstuffing service, consisting of:

• Full container pick up (directly or indirectly) from ports informed by shipper.
• Coordination with SAG, SERNAPESCA, IFOP, Customs Agencies and/or other private or public entities for unstuffing and container dispatch.
• Container unstuffing, according to customer’s instructions.
• Reception and storage of cargo in warehouse.
• Empty container delivery to depot.
• Cargo loading on truck.

CARGO STORAGE AND WAREHOUSE RENTAL

In addition to the aforementioned services, cargo storage services are carried out, including its reception and dispatch according to the Client’s needs.

For the above, lease and/or operating contracts are established, for defined periods and based on minimums that guarantee the availability of space for customers.

INLAND TRANSPORT

MARVAL has own and third-party transportation equipment for dry cargo, reefer and liquid cargo, which provide permanent services to meet the requirements of domestic customers, exporters and cargo importers.

The company has a logistic control system specially developed to deliver online information.

The transport services have duly insurance for covering both, container and contents, for a value of UF 5,000.The company has the facility to contract higher coverage levels for cargoes that exceed regular limit.

CONTAINER STORAGE AND DEPOT

Considers the reception, inspection, storage, custody and dispatch of units according to customer’s instructions and according to stacking or demurrage date (depending on whether it is export or import cargo).

Regarding the container dispatch and pick up, inland transportation to/from the Port/Depot, services are coordinated with the corresponding custom agent.
